We left Brisbane on the morning of Wednesday 7th April and flew to Sydney then to Alice Springs where we picked up a 4wd before driving
to Uluru, where we stayed 2 nights. Amazing scenery and 50 million flies.
We then went to Kings Canyon, where we stayed for one night before travelling on to Alice Springs via the Mereenie Loop Road.
We had a very enjoyable time over the next couple of days looking around The Alice with my brother Malcolm and his family. We even drove our 4wd's up the legendary Todd River. On Wednesday the 14th, we flew home via Sydney. We had a couple of hours stopover so we took the kids in to Sydney Harbour. It was Sarah and Damian's first plane trip so that was very exciting.
